The 2024 Ultimate Luxury Bridal Shoes Edit
As a serious shoe lover, this post was a hard one for me to write. There are so many amazing bridal shoes out there; which ones were going to make my “Ultimate Luxury Bridal Shoes Edit?”
Before we get started, I would like to caveat a couple of things. First, this is a current list of shoes. I love me some Christian Louboutin always, and they’ve created magnificent bridal shoes in the past, but unfortunately there aren’t a lot of great ones listed for purchase right now. Second, the shoes that made the list very much reflect the Events by Paulina sense of style - over-the-top, luscious, chic, and classic all at the same time. Understood that not everyone’s sense of style is the same. Third, this is a true luxury list. Some of these shoes are more expensive than my rent! But hey, it still makes my heart flutter even just looking at them. My fellow shoe lovers, this one’s for you.
1. Jimmy Choo Cinderella Collection, Ari Crystal Pumps
Kicking-off the list with a bang! These Jimmy Choo Cinderella Ari Pumps are to die for! This is the crème of the crop when it comes to luxury bridal shoes, period. Whenever I stop by a Jimmy Choo store, I always shamelessly ask to try these on. You just gotta!
I don’t think there’s anything prettier in the world than this pair of wonderfulness. If you have a $5,000 wedding shoe budget (we’re all secretly jealous), these are definitely the shoes to get.
And after you wear them, do me a favor, please put them in a glass box and display them like the piece of art they are. It’s the only way to treat these babies, am I right? Oh, did I mention they also make these in gold, red, black, and PINK??!! PINK!!
2. Jimmy Choo Sacora 100 with Pearls
I remember the first time I saw these on Instagram. My heart raced and I screamed (in my head) “OMGGG WHO MAKES THESE SHOES?!!”
Once I realized it was Jimmy Choo, my following thought was “WHY THE HECK DIDN’T JIMMY CHOO MAKE THESE EARLIER WHEN I WAS GETTING MARRIED, DARN IT!!”
I’m sure, from my short self-talk outlined above, you can tell how much I adore these Jimmy Choo Sacora 100 with Pearls. You see a lot of embellished crystal and sequin luxury bridal shoes, but something covered with white pearls is much harder to find. For the fashion-obsessed brides, this vintage throwback is definitely the bridal shoe for you.
3. Jimmy Choo Sacora 100 with Lace
Understood that if you are wearing a more delicate wedding dress (i.e. with tulle or lace), the Sacora 100 in Pearl we just looked at might feel “too heavy” as a compliment. Jimmy Choo must have thought of the same thing because they also made the Jimmy Choo Sacora 100 in Lace.
It’s delicate. It’s sexy. Equally stunning as the pearl version, but more in a classic way.
This would look gorgeous with a simple silk wedding dress, where the shoes can do some of the talking.
4. Jimmy Choo Viola 110 with Crystal Embellishments and Feather Tassel
If you’re a bride that’s more spice than sugar, this is the pair of wedding shoes for you. These Jimmy Choo Viola 110 with Crystal Embellishments and a Feather Tassel make me wanna get up and dance just by looking at them.
In reality, it would probably be impossible to dance in them longer than 10 minutes (my feet and I are no longer 21 years old), but what I mean is they automatically make me wanna have a good time.
Can’t you just see it? These shoes with a short dress on the dance floor (maybe also a feathered number)? In my opinion, these are flawless for a wedding reception or after-party.
5. Jimmy Choo Baily 100 with Crystal and Pearl Embellishment
Say hi to another great pair of reception or after-party wedding shoes! Since the design of the Jimmy Choo Baily 100 with Crystals and Pearls is closed-toe and adorned with embellishments, it can feel even heavier than the Sacora 100 in Pearl above.
Nevertheless, can we just appreciate the mastery of these shoes for one minute?!! I love the strap that goes across the front; you gotta love Jimmy for that classic touch.
These would go perfectly with an equally embellished column/sheath wedding dress for a super posh look.
6. Jimmy Choo Love 100 with Metallic Silver Glitter and Tulle
This pair of Jimmy Choo Love 100 with Metallic Silver Glitter and Tulle might not scream glam or luxe as the shoes we’ve seen so far; what they are is timeless. Especially for a summer outdoor wedding, where the bride might be wearing a light and flowy A-line, these shoes would go phenomenally with it.
These are also shoes you can easily re-wear in the future for special occasions, which is always a plus!
7. Jimmy Choo Thyra 100 Crystal Sandals
The Jimmy Choo Thyra 100 Crystal Sandals is my favorite pair of reception or after-party wedding shoes on the list.
It’s bling, it’s delicate, it’s sexy, it’s chic. It’s got everything you need to rock the night away and feel like a million bucks doing it.
I think it’s also one of the most versatile pairs on the list; you can literally wear this with any wedding dress and look amazing in it. Not a lot of shoes can achieve that, believe it or not!
8. Jimmy Choo Romy 100 in White Lace
The list wouldn’t be complete without a simple pair of white lace shoes. For me, that’s the Jimmy Choo Romy 100 in White Lace.
Christian Louboutin also does a pair of simple lace shoes, but from experience, Jimmy Choo always has a nicer, more comfortable fit.
If you’re a no-fuss bride going for a touch of luxury romance, this is the shoe for you.
9. Jimmy Choo Bing 100 in White Patent Leather
Jimmy does it again! Creating bridal shoe miracles. I realized there are a lot of Jimmy Choos on this list, but it’s because they are the best in the bridal shoe game right now.
These Jimmy Choo Bing 100 in White Patent Leather shoes are my top pick for a wedding rehearsal dinner, bridal shower, or welcome cocktail event.
It would also be spectacular to wear these for a city hall wedding (with super chic like what Carrie Bradshaw wore to get married at the end of the Sex and the City movie), wouldn’t it?
10. Christian Louboutin Brodiriza 70
As I mentioned in the beginning, Christian Louboutin isn’t putting a lot of great bridal shoes right now, unfortunately. A lot of their embellished shoes currently for purchase happen to be in gold or pink tones, which isn’t very bridal for the most part. The only bridal shoe I’m loving is this pair of Christian Louboutin Brodiriza 70, and boy do I love it!
I mean. Wow. Just wow! I am at a loss of words besides I need to work harder in life just so I can own these one day, wedding or not.
If you’re looking to make a real statement with your bridal shoes, these right here had me at hello (and probably had you at hello too).
11. Roger Vivier Flower Strass Buckle Pumps in White Satin
The truth is, I haven’t fully boarded the Roger Vivier bandwagon yet. All thanks for Sarah Jessica Parker, my loyalties for satin pumps with a buckle still rests with Manolo Blahnik. With that said, I do like this pair of Roger Vivier Flower Strass Buckle Pumps in White Satin.
Unlike the Manolo design, which has a more rounded toe, the Roger Vivier toes are pointier. It’s a more modern and sexier design, which I can appreciate.
This is a great option for brides that want that classic Manolo look, but with a fashionable twist.
12. Manolo Blahnik White Satin Hangisi Bride with Blue Buckle
The most classic wedding shoe of them all, and needs no introduction, is the Manolo Blahnik White Satin Hangisi. What we are looking at here, though, is the special Hangisi Bride pumps. Instead of having a dark or light grey buckle in the front (almost all Hangisis have both options), it has a baby blue crystal buckle.
Yes, you heard me right, a baby blue buckle. This is as romantic of a wedding shoe as it gets, especially if you believe in having “something blue.”
I myself wore the Manolo White Satin Hangisis when I got married in Italy a couple of years ago. You just can’t go wrong with getting married in this shoe, ever.
13. Manolo Blahnik White Lace Hangisi
While I think the Manolo Hangisi in White Satin pretty much goes with everything, no matter what material or style your wedding dress is, I do love a lace on lace look. So if you’re wearing a lace wedding dress, do consider the Manolo Blahnik Hangisi in White Lace.
It’s just so damn pretty.
14. Manolo Blahnik White Satin Lurum
Another shoe that I desperately wish had been released when I got married. Seriously!! Where were all these options two years ago? The Manolo Blahnik White Satin Lurum Shoe is splendid in every way. Every inch of the shoe is perfection. That strap across the front with the crystal details is everything.
I will never say no to the Jimmy Choo Cinderella Ari Pumps, but for me, the Manolo Lurum is the ultimate luxury experience. It’s the perfect balance of opulence and elegance.
If you are a classic bride looking to wear something from Manolo on your wedding day, but also want something different from everybody else, this is the shoe for you.
15. Manolo Blahnik White Lace Lurum
Then, there was the Manolo Blahnik Lurum in White Lace.
Again, I love a good stylish lace on lace look, so another great option for brides that are wearing a lace wedding dress on their big day.
16. Manolo Blahnik Light Blue Satin Hangisli
Last but not last, to end our “Ultimate Luxury Bridal Shoes Edit” is a little something blue. For the brides that believe in the “something blue” tradition, you must consider the Manolo Blahnik Light Blue Satin Hangisli.
